How DigDate Works
Dig Before You Date
Online dating is fast. Trust is not.
DigDate helps you quickly assess risk signals and inconsistencies in online dating profiles and conversations without invasive background checks, subscriptions, or long wait times.
In just a few minutes, DigDate turns screenshots into a clear, easy-to-understand risk awareness report designed to help you make smarter, safer dating decisions.
Step 1: Upload Screenshots (No Forms, No Guessing)
Instead of asking you to fill out long forms, DigDate works the way dating actually happens.
You upload:
- A screenshot of the dating profile bio
- 1-2 profile photos (for visual consistency checks)
- Optional chat screenshots (to analyze conversation patterns)
Screenshots work best because they show exactly what you see - photos, bios, claims, tone, and context.
No usernames required.
No account linking.
No digging through social media.
Step 2: Automated Analysis Begins
Once uploaded, DigDate securely processes your screenshots using automated systems and artificial intelligence.
The analysis looks for patterns and signals, such as:
- Visual inconsistencies in profile photos
- Signs of copied or scripted bios
- Chat behaviors commonly associated with manipulation or scams
- Basic phone and email risk indicators (if provided)
- Consistency between claimed details and observable metadata
This process is fully automated and typically takes 30-60 seconds.
Step 3: Review Your DigDate Report
Your DigDate report is designed to be clear, calm, and practical - not alarming or accusatory.
Each report includes:
- A risk consistency score (0-100)
- A plain-language executive summary
- Section-by-section analysis with visual indicators
- Clear explanations of why something may be a concern
- Context to help you interpret results responsibly
DigDate does not label people as good or bad. It highlights signals worth paying attention to.
Step 4: Optional Social Fingerprint Add-On
If you choose the optional add-on, DigDate can also scan for publicly visible username reuse across common platforms.
This can reveal:
- Whether a username appears widely or rarely
- Signs of long-term, consistent online presence
- Potential mismatches between claimed lifestyle and public activity
This step is optional and never required.
Step 5: Share or Download (Your Choice)
You can:
- View your report securely online
- Download a branded PDF
- Generate a shareable Trading Card summary for trusted friends
Many users share results privately with friends or group chats to get a second opinion.
